Notes:
Fairly certain no effect of past drug use on dopaminergic terminals
in striatum. Very consistent numbers.
More intrigued by possible loss of DTBZ binding in the midline
structures for 052301. In both the MDMA-naive animals (060501 and
Lil Bit) that area clearly better visualized on PET scans. Just did
not get good data at that level for the other MDMA monkey.
I think we do at least one more MDMA-naive animal and the remaining
drug-treated animal, making sure we get good images through the
thalamus area. Then if we have consistent results it will be very
interesting to see if Ricuarte also finds losses in those regions.
We are never going to see losses in cortical areas, the amount of
specific binding of DTBZ is too small.
